With household costs increasing, the last thing you need is increased costs to maintaining your piano!… So this winter I have held my prices until at least April ’23 to help. I’m delighted to be able to carry out around 80 to 90% of my tuning appointments in my electric car with zero emissions.

I believe that looking at how each of us can reduce our carbon footprint is key to how we can collectively fight climate change in the world.

Next year I hope to swap our diesel car for another EV so that all of my piano visits will be with zero emissions.

From January ’22 I’ll be opening up Mondays along with the regular Wednesdays for tuning and servicing work. Saturday mornings will still be available if required, but will be subject to a £10 surcharge for a weekend appointment.

Now things are slowly returning to something like normal, piano tunings have been in demand and I’m booking ahead into the summer months… please contact me to book a tuning date.

With the restrictions still in the process of being lifted, I am continuing to take precautions including wearing a mask in customer’s homes and hand sanitising before and after tuning. Thank you to all my piano tuning customers who have been so accommodating over the past 12 months or so.

Latest Covid-19 update…. As we progress through the new year into February, I’m delighted to say that I am now getting back into customers homes again and am able to arrange to tune your piano!

Following advice from the Government and NHS, I am using PPE equipement, using hand gel and wiping down the piano keys with disinfectant wipes. Unfortunately I won’t be able to accept any offers of refreshments. The photo here shows you what to expect when I arrive to tune your piano during the pandemic…

Tuning is now taking place completely normally, but if you feel vulnerable, please just let me know and I will happily wear a mask and use hand sanitiser for my visit.

I’m pleased to announce I can now offer Wednesday daytime appointments for piano tuning along with my regular Saturday mornings and weekdays after work. Please contact me if you would like a quote for piano tuning and I can now normally fit in appointments sooner.

I’m pleased to now be able to offer polyester casework repairs!… There are occasions when  the high gloss polyester finish of your piano can become chipped, fractured or split. I have been using the excellent Konig liquid polyester repair for several years now with very pleasing results. See before and after images to get an idea of what is possible and you can always contact me and send photos of your polyester damage for me to be able to advise further.

I am delighted to have recently joined the well respected Piano Tuners’ Association, achieved but passing a series of tuning and technical assessments at Steinway Hall in London. The PTA accreditation provides assurance to it’s members custoemrs that their Tuner Technician has reached a high standard of work, gives many training opportunities and factory visits.
